The reading club aims to
- improve reading skills
- encourage time away from the screens
- reading comprehension
- critical thinking
- using your imagination
- exploring creative expressions
- and promote the love of reading
Children will be encouraged to read the book together and then discuss and share what they thought about what they read.
Engaging activities & active learning
Other engaging activities incorporated into reading club includes:
- drawing
- painting
- crafts
We aim to engage the children to dive deeper into the book’s meaning and scenes.
Times & Schedule
Reading club takes place from 4-4:45 pm every Monday starting from March 1, 2021 until April 28, 2021.
SK – Gr. 1:
- 20 mins
Gr. 2 – 3:
- 30 mins
Gr. 4-6:
- 45 mins
Please note there is a $10/month fee.
